Seat tickets require a bit more work then Gen Adm Tickets but they can be very profitable if done right.
When buying seat tickets you want to think about it from the viewer’s perspective. For shows and sports events you want to think about where the viewer can see the band or the game best. It’s important to understand the layout of the venue which can be done on Ticketmaster through the map buying method. Knowing the venue will allow you to pick seats where you have the best visibility.

These are some factors to consider when buying seats
Check for prices breaks or the row where the price drops. If you can buy tickets in the first row of tickets behind a price drop you have a good advantage over other sellers. If one row ahead is $70 per seat and the next is $40 then the viewer experience is almost identical but you can buy much cheaper and still charge a higher price. This will allow you to make a greater profit over all.
Isle seats are great because you can easily get to your seat and leave your seat at any time.
Always buy seats in at least bundles of two because most concert goers don’t go alone so they will be looking to buy at least 2 or more tickets at a time.
Don’t buy overly expensive front row tickets or any special tickets because you will have a hard time marking up the tickets for a profit. Front row and special seating is usually reversed for specific VIP people and are just marked up a lot in case someone is actually willing to pay that much.
