There’s a lot to consider before you finally decide where to buy your tickets but it’s important to know all the option available and to be open to any potential tickets that may make you money. - Ticketmaster: This is by far the simplest and most often used source for buying tickets. A large majority of this guide is geared towards buying tickets from ticketmaster. It is the largest online broker of tickets and is the most common place where Artists choose to list their tickets and where most people buy them. They have a very developed market system with map buying options and a variety of organizational and sale options. You can choose best available when buying and between other different tickets. Ticketmaster also has a presale options to those who have presale codes which we will discuss later on in this guide.
- Stubhub: This is another very large online website used for buying tickets by many people. It is overall more expensive per ticket than ticketmaster and has a broader selection of tickets which vary from sports to concerts and more.
- Craigslist/Ebay: Although not specifically centered around tickets, these widely used website can be used to buy tickets that can be sometimes bought for dirt cheap prices. Websites like Craigslist and Ebay make it very easy to sell tickets and therefore many people who actually intended to go to a concert will sell their tickets on here. Most ticket brokers stick to Stubhub to resell so looking to buy tickets for good shows even after the event sold out could be profitable. Fans usually sell their tickets for the price they got them or even cheaper just so they don’t lose too much money. We can use these opportunities to buy and then relit and sell on stubhub for much higher returns.
- Actual Box Office: This is another available option for buying tickets. It requires actually going to a ticket office and buying physical tickets when they are release. This can be used for buying tickets in very high demand. Most often we will stick to buying tickets online.
