What If My Tickets Don't Sell on Ticketmaster?

Reason 1: Your Price Is Too High
This is the most common reason by far. Buyers compare listings before they purchase, and if yours is priced above comparable seats in the same section, they'll buy from someone else first.
How to fix it: Go back to the event page and look at what your direct competitors (same section, same row range) are listing for. If you're 10–20% above the median, drop your price. A small margin cut is far better than unsold tickets the night before the event.
Reason 2: You're Only Listed on One Platform
Ticketmaster's resale reach is strong for events on their platform, but many buyers shop exclusively on StubHub, Vivid Seats, or SeatGeek. If you're only on Ticketmaster, you're missing a significant portion of the buyer pool.

Reason 3: The Event Has Low Demand

- List on StubHub and Vivid Seats in addition to Ticketmaster.
- Monitor daily. The week of the event is when demand spikes — many tickets that sat for weeks sell in the last 48 hours.
- Set a floor. Decide the minimum you'll accept, and don't hold out below that number if the event is tomorrow.
- Accept break-even if you have to. Breaking even is better than an unsold ticket worth zero after the event. Every experienced broker has taken a small loss on occasion — it's part of the business.
